They’ve shown you how to work the equipment. Now off you go!

What? You forgot what this machine is for, how to set it up for you?

Do you even know why you’re standing dumbfounded in front of this piece of equipment?

Right.

You’ve gone this route several times. Every year you make a commitment to get “fit” and you join the least expensive big box gym in your neighborhood.  Twenty bucks a month. That’s a great deal! You put it on your credit card, set it up for automatic debit, and forget about it. Three weeks later, you’ve truly forgotten about it. Your card continues to get charged, you never learned anything about how or why you’re doing “exercises”, and you have a new pair of work out shorts that will sit in your bottom drawer for the rest of the year.

Real Elite is going to be a whole different experience for you. I promise.

I will personally show you how to do ALL our exercises. I will explain WHY we are doing those exercises. I will stand there and make you finish your sets! If, after a while of working with us, you start doing an exercise with improper form, I’ll help you correct it. Real Elite Training Center is not a “set it and forget it” facility. Your exercise program will be varied, new exercises will be introduced, you WILL be challenged. You WILL get stronger! You WILL do things you never thought you could do.

I have an Intro to Conditioning course for absolute beginners that will show you how to do all our exercises and get you moving again. After 6 weeks, you will be ready to move into our standard conditioning membership.

New conditioning space

The space was cleared out over the weekend. Painting has begun. Equipment shipments are coming in. Exercise bikes assembled. Weights and olypic bars on the way. Jump boxes built. Olympic rings are in. Medicine balls arrived.
We are still doing conditioning in the other 4th avenue space. So get in to do your thing!

Rings came in!  We’ll have at least 6 sets of olympic style rings in new space @ 805 4th ave training center! Get ready to come in for Ring Presses, Ring Pulls, Muscle Ups, etc!!!!
We would like to have all the new systems installed by 2nd week in january.

Real Elite Training Center is CRUSHING it when it comes to the latest in Strength Training and Conditioning methods. REAL has been training world class martial arts fighters for years and is now sharing the same strength training and conditioning techniques employed by these elite level athletes with the general public. You don’t have to be a fighter to train like one. The INTRO Class is designed for absolute beginners and will prepare you for advanced fitness routines. After you take the Intro Course you can sign up for the more advanced level courses offered at REAL or, at the very least, you will know what you’re doing the next time you step into one of the Big Box gyms.

You’ve wanted to start working out for a while now. But what the hell is a Burpee? What’s a Clean and Press? In this case, it has nothing to do with laundry. You can’t do a single pullup? That’s alright, we’ll fix that. Never touched a kettlebell before? Don’t know the difference between an Olympic Bar and… and… your local sports bar? This class is for you. Intro to Conditioning will teach you the basics you’ll need to start revving up your metabolism and get you physically and mentally ready for more serious conditioning. Maybe you’ve been to other gyms and you have your own set of weights (rusting in the basement). That’s OK too. We’ll show you how we get things done here at Real Elite Training Center.

PULL

This week’s PULL workout. Lots of pulling! The highlight of this workout was the inclusion of 100 Renegade Rows, followed by 3 minutes on the airdyne, followed by 2 minutes of Up&Overs.
Up and Overs are where you take plate (25lbs, 35lbs, 45lbs, etc) and using both hands, lift it up and over your head again and again and again.
